Hi, my name is Carole
Bennett and my husband Tony and I are the directors of Real Special Ltd.
Real Special is an internet-based company that was formed in 2004.
Our company
offers a specialised range of
products for those
needing support with; dyslexia, dyspraxia,
dyscalculia, autism,
memory problems,
spelling and reading difficulties,
sensory impairment, and
more.
The range is predominately
software and is
for use in homes,
schools and other
educational
establishments.
I have extensive
experience in working as
a teacher in mainstream,
in special needs
settings, and as a
teacher of the Deaf both
in New Zealand and the
UK. As a family, we moved to New Zealand in 2001, and became proud New Zealand citizens in 2005.
My
role is to be in charge of sales and customer
service. Products
on our website are ones
I can personally
recommend, and as we are not linked to any
one supplier, offer
impartial advice.
I
write a free monthly
email newsletter with
special offers, useful
websites, easy recipes,
etc. Edith the poodle is
the Real Special mascot and she 'writes' her own page in the newsletter too!

Hi, my name is Tony and
my role at Real Special
Ltd. is the day-to-day
operations including
accounts, technical
queries and product
despatch and tracking. I
am passionate about the
continuous improvement
of our business and
really enjoy developing
relationships with
customers.
I
have a background in
technology, management
and finance having
worked for an American
multinational as the
manager of one of its UK
business units. More
recently I worked for a
New Zealand based
company as an analyst
and trader, trading US
options online in a
variety of indices and
commodities.
I
enjoy the challenge of
up-skilling and am
currently studying
part-time towards my
Graduate Diploma in
Professional Accounting.
I am a drummer and love
to walk with Carole and
our dogs (Edie and
Bobby) on the nearby
beaches along Nelson’s
Ruby Coast.

I would like to

fact that you

for a Vibralert
telling me of the
delay in supply.I
have fitted the
device and the lady
is most appreciative
as she cannot even
hear a normal
smoke-alarm with her
hearing aid turned
full up, she just
doesn't hear that
frequency. It would
be good if someone
could build a much
lower toned
detector.
