To find a product:
- Run your mouse over the ‘Browse Products’ link to the right of our logo and select your area of difficulty, e.g. Literacy.
- Alternatively, if you know the name of the product, type it in our search engine. This can be done by clicking the magnifying glass to the right of our logo.
- You can order through our website (click the “Add to Cart” button and follow the directions). Payment in NZ can be made by internet banking, cheque, or PayPal.
- You can email us your order to firstname.lastname@example.org and then pay by either internet banking or cheque.
- You can phone or fax us your order 03 544 0737 and then pay by either internet banking or cheque.
The majority of our NZ orders are sent via CourierPost 24hrs service (1 business day – except Friday despatches where goods will arrive on Monday). We aim to despatch within 3 working days from date of order if the items are in stock. Please note postage is non-signature; extra charges will apply if this service is required.
There can be some occasions when despatch can take a little longer e.g. when we are awaiting supplies, or ordering overseas products, such as Lucid software which require customised licencing information for the school or other organisation.
At Real Special Ltd we pride ourselves on giving excellent service which involves giving support and backup to all our customers. We aim to achieve this by first helping you choose resources that are the best fit your learners at the right price.
All prices listed on Real Special Ltd. are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST at 15%. For orders from outside NZ we will not charge any GST on your order. All prices are correct when published. Please note that we reserve the right to alter prices at any time for any reason. If this should happen after you have ordered a product, we will contact you prior to processing your order.

The Payment method that you should select for your order depends on whether you are an educational establishment (schools, NZ local government) or a private customer.
Educational Establishments (NZ only and part of a local government)
We accept purchase orders from educational establishments. Invoices for orders placed using a purchase order will be sent out with the products, or posted separately to the invoice address if a different delivery address is specified. Please provide us with your Purchase Order number where applicable.
Credit Terms: Payment on orders placed with a purchase order, by schools and local government bodies should be made no later than the 20th of the following month.
Payment for orders from private customers is required prior to posting. This can be done by internet banking, cheque or credit card via Paypal. For security, your card details will not be given to us when you pay via PayPal.
Website and Credit Card Security
We want you to have a safe and secure shopping experience online. All payments via our sites are processed using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, whereby sensitive information is encrypted to protect your privacy. We don’t receive or hold your credit card details from the website as this is all done within Paypal’s secure site (SSL).
You can help to protect your details from unauthorised access by logging out each time you finish using the site, particularly if you are doing so from a public or shared computer.
For security purposes certain transactions may require proof of identification.

While we endeavour to supply accurate information on this website, occasionally errors and omissions may occur. Real Special Ltd. does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on, or accessed, through this site.
We do not sell, rent or give your private information including name, address, email, phone numbers to third parties (regardless of whether you are a customer or on our newsletter database). We also do not send you unsolicited emails – all special offers are advertised in our newsletter. We do not subscribe you to our newsletter without permission, but you can subscribe from any page on our site to have it sent to you automatically. Alternatively, you can check out archive issues on our website.
We collect name and address solely for the purpose of the delivery of goods, plus if you register on our website, it will save your details for your convenience so you do not have to enter them again the next time you purchase something.
Individual users are not identified in website statistics. These statistics are used to improve the site and monitor traffic. Under the Privacy Act 1993, you have the right to ask to see the information we hold about you so please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns and would like to view or delete the information.
